The getSpec VIS 0278 standard is an easy and save to handle and compact VIS spectroradiometer. The included easy-to-use software has the full complement of radiometric and colorometric functions requisite for research, diagnostic, and quality control applications. Its miniaturized design makes it suitable for laboratory as well as industrial use. The getSpec VIS 0278 standard measures luminance/ radiance and illuminance/ irradiance. Furthermore colorimetric values (CCT, chromaticity, color purity, dominant wavelength, CRI) are calculated from the spectral data. Therefore it is suited for the test of light sources as CRT screens as well as for the measurement of illuminance in rooms etc.
The adjustment on the target in case of luminance/ radiance measurements will be arranged with an internal pilot laser. The correction for irradiance measurements is done by a cosine corrector head-piece.
Measurement and analysis of data are proceeded by the “PC software. The connection to the PC is via a USB interface.
Applications are quality control measurements on TV, monitors, LCD-, LED- and displays. Also used is the spectroradiometer in the field of traffic and car lights measurements. Do not hesitate to contact us for further applications like room illumination measurements and the analysis of diffuse light sources. The getSpec VIS 0278 standard can be controlled by user written software. A DLL is now available.

Principles of the getSpec VIS 0278 standard: small, robust and easy to use. Due to its easy USB-connection it can be used for mobile applications. Measurements in time step intervals are possible.
